In one of the projects on Mule ESB, we have come across this situation to get HTML output from the Mule Flow. In this article, we will be demonstrating how we achieved this. We employed Parse Template Component for this use case.
What is Parse Template Component?
Parse Template is a component which loads the content of a flow-external file into a mule flow, then use the file as the template into which you can insert data returned as the evaluated Mule expression.
Configuring Parse Template Component:
Drag the Parse Template message processor from the palette onto the canvas, then configure the fields according to the screenshot shown below.
After configuring the Parse Template Component, we ran the Mule Flow after successfully deploying it. We tested it from the postman (a chrome extension) to get the following response:
